Dance like your inner four-year-old

It's really a very simple suggestion. Whenever you're feeling stressed out or need a bit of an energy boost put on the cheesiest music you've got and just... dance. Dance how you danced when you were four years old and only barely understood the basics of rhythm (1-2-3-4) and had just a few smooth moves in your repertoire to show off on the dancefloor (ie the middle of the circle in the kindergarten classroom). Just let loose. There's no need to try and put it all together to impress others. Dance for yourself and feel good about it with a big grin and a lot of laughs.

Seriously, it works. I used to have inner four-year-old dance-offs in the hallways of residences when everyone had been overcome by stress and anxiety and to fend off exhaustion over papers and exams. It works (most times)!

Try it!

If you need a bit of guidance here are some fine examples. Video produced by Mr Dave Jolicoeur and associates featuring the artistic achievements of many a castle kid (2005-2006).

Oops... the video is too big to put on this blog apparently. I'll try and sort it and put it up later.
